What Is Volunteering?
- It is the individuals choice
- It is to give of your time.
- Provide friendship/ companionship
- To offer a skill or talent
Volunteers are invaluable and like everyone the need to feel needed and they need to know their work is appreciated.
We anticipate that our volunteers will adhere to Neerim District Health Service policies and procedures. These are located in the Nurses station and can be viewed on request. As a volunteer, staff will delegate tasks suitable if you are not satisfied or confident in assisting with any given task, please inform staff.
There are various roles within our facility where volunteers are needed, their time & effort is invaluable.
