Acute Care
The Neerim District Health Service provides Maternal Child Health Nusre services in conjunction with the local Medical Practitioners. Visiting specialists and allied health providers. Services such as pathology, dressings, ECGs, Maternal Health Nurse, Podiatry and Physiotherapy are available.
A Facility Fee of $75 will apply to all non-member patients ($37.50 for members) who present for Outpatient treatment. This fee is not covered by Medicare nor your Private Health Insurance. This fee is in addition to the medical fees raised by the doctor. This fee will be required to be settled on discharge. Credit card and EFTPOS facilities are available for your convenience.
MEMBERSHIP — By purchasing an annual membership you will be entitled to half price outpatient fees, free Pathology service and have a say in issues raised at annual general meetings of the Health Service.
Family Membership — $35
Single Membership — $20
THIRD PARTY CLAIMS such as workcover and TAC will be billed to the relevant authority, however, sent to the patient for payment. There is no discount for Pensioner and Concession cardholders, all Outpatient. Treatment fees apply.
We offer a Restorative Care service and are also planning to be a part of the Trenstinal Care Program through West Gippsland Healthcare Group and Respite Care by application to the health service.
